Relationship Headache
Would like some help please
I'm making a database I have Tables called Customers, Estimates and Invoices
My customers and Estimates are working fine but I can't figure out my Invoices what I'm trying to do is when I create a Estimate for my customer I have a pop up menu which it tells me the Estimate is pending.
If I win the project I then go to the pop up menu and change it to Accepted which all works fine.
Its the Invoicing part I'm having trouble with what I want is when the project is completed is to go back into the Estimate and then send it to Invoices so I can then View the Invoice and print it but I can't figure out how to join the relaship to the Invoices table.
Thank You

Re: Relationship Headache
You don't need a relationship. Use a script to copy each of the fields from the Estimate into variables, go to the Invoice table, create a new record, and populate all of the fields with the data in the variables.
For complicated estimates this might mean copying dozens of fields (or more!) into variables and then back again to the estimate.

Re: Relationship Headache
Regarding the photo on the RIGHT side ---> Are you in a portal and click a button in the portal record? And are you mixing Customer and Estimate fields in the portal?
I would guess that the problem is in the photo on the right. If you can please upload your database so we can have a look.
