    Container field Adobe error message

I have created an interactive container field for the first time in FM15 in Windows 64-bit version.

I have put a pdf into the container.

I am running the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.

Whenever I switch to the layout with the container I get an error message:

There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader. If it is running, please exit and try again. (9:9)

I have exited and tried again but it does not fix the problem. Have searched on the web and in this forum but cannot findd a solution. I would be greateful for any ideas on how to fix this.

    Maarten, thanks.

Can't believe this issue has been identified 18 months ago and still not fixed.

Fortunately I was on a trial.

I uninstalled the 64 bit FM version and installed the 32 bit version. The latter works perfectly (with the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC).

The ability to scroll (and resize, print, etc) within the container is a very powerful feature.

Do you know whether the 32 bit version of FM Pro Advanced 15 is also compatible with the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC?

It should be. But I can't tell for sure. However if you plan to do any serious developing, it is highly recommended to use Advanced.
