I have a FM database that is accessed via username and password where some fields in a table change based on choices made by the current user. I have a second database that will be open via guest access (no username or password) and Web Direct access. I'd like to be able to script something that creates new records in the open database and populates the appropriate fields reflecting the changes that are made in the "secure" username accessible database. Have been having trouble getting the scripting to work and have settled on the following:. I can see in the open database via a portal the changes that are made in the secure database, and I think I can then write a script to step though those records and portal rows to transfer the info into actual record entries in the open database. Wondering if there is a more straight forward approach.
