    TimeCard Hour Distribution

    Hello,

    I've been given the task to make our time-card a bit easier to fill out. I've got mostly everything I want going but I've hit a wall. I'm trying to figure out how to calculate hours worked in the day depending on what hours where put in, then have those hours put into a couple places right now 1x and 1.5x. I basically want the 1x to go up to 8 hours and once the calculation of the day goes over 8 i want 1.5x to take whats left starting at 1.

    for example. If i work 8:00-13:00 then 14:00-18:00 that's 9 hours and I want the 1x box to say 8 then the remaining 1 hour show in the 1.5x box as 1 (not 9).

    I'm sure it's a very simple calculation but for some reason I can't seem to get it right. The number either continues to go up in the 1x box, shows as 0 or as ?.

    If anyone can help I'd very much appreciate it.

    Thank you

    For the 1x box the calculation could be:
    Case(Table::TotalhoursField>8;8;Table::TotalHoursField)

    For the 1.5x box:
    Case(Table::TotalHoursField)>8; Table::TotalHoursField)-8)
    Can't double check on iPad, but you could put each expression in the data viewer.

    Thank you Steve for replying. I put in the calculation and it still gives me a 0. I don't know if this helps but for the total hour calculation I have

    wrap_mon - ti_am_mon + lunch_mon - ti_pm_mon

    (ti = time in, just so you know)
