I am using Send Event to trigger a hash.bat file in Windows 7 Professional. The hash.bat file will provide a hash of the contents of a file I call paydata.xml. I know that the hash.bat file works if I run it directly and the hash result is successfully output to a hash.txt file. But if I run it using Filemaker Send Event the hash.txt file is successfully created but with no data in it. I have even tried running hash.bat using Windows Task Scheduler and all works fine. I can only presume that Send Event needs some permission that is not being granted?
